Taking part in a mini chumps league Next season. Ajax have been named the 16th team in Europe's mini-Champions League next season and will play England's dark horses Aston Villa. In a coup for organisers NextGen, the four-time European champions have joined the Under 19s tournament in Group Four, along with Villa, Rosenborg and Fenerbahce. The International Youth Tournament dedicated to FC Shakhtar’s 75 Anniversary will be held at Kirsha training centre from 19-21 August. Eight U-17 squads from across Europe, divided into two groups, will be the tournament participants. Seats for City's first game in the NextGen Series against Barcelona have been snapped up, but standing tickets are still available to pre-order. Hyde’s Ewen Fields will host the match at 7pm, 15 September when a young City side will battle it out against their counterparts from Catalonia as part of a group stage that also includes Celtic and Marseilles. Standing tickets must be purchased in advance, and are only available in person at the box office, above the CityStore at the Etihad Stadium. Prices are £3 for adults, £1 for concessions. |

U18 won the Northern Division title today following a 4-0 win over Chelsea at Cobham Training Centre.
