Could we actually be witnessing the greatest player ever?

Seriously, could he one day be regarded as an all time great?

My tip - YES

nah, too small and light weight. to be truly great he needs to be able to tackle hard, hoof it long and be a bastard.

"player" doesn't do him justice. more like "attacking god".

nope, even when [S]retreating [/S] without the ball he could still be a threat, and therefore a vaible target for [S]sinking[/S] some brutal tackling.

Argie cheats are my favourite type of player.

Tevez doesn't cheat enough for my liking. It is an aspect of his game where he has to improve his workrate. He won't be an all time great until he does.

should have made more of that shout for a penalty we had in the first half. No one seems to mention it, but looked a pretty decent shout to me. Knocked it past him and got took down by him. If that was a defender it would have been a nailed on penner

Maradonna wouldn't have let that one pass. And for the penalty shot he would have picked up the ball, thrown it into the net and got away with it.

Yeah he's good, does he deserve a thread for his own on this forum? Nah. He's no Carlitos.

Speaking of which I just got my tickets to see Barca v Deportivo in April at Nou Camp. My first visit, yay. :)

Anyone see the reports yesterday that Anzhi triggered his £205m release clause and offered a contract worth £460,000 per week that he turned down?

I know he won't exactly be on the bread line at Barca but I'm impressed he has turned that down. I'd have signed it with my own dismembered penis if that was one of the terms
