Well i think it fair to say that we can all look forward to good old 4-4-2 next season. Considering not only how hughes used to set up blackburn but because it looks like we'll have the highest ration of attacking:defensive players in the premiership next season!

In fact bring on 4-3-3 or 4-2-4 Goals galore next season!

Defensive players
(Presuming Dunne is still going)

Ball
Garrido
Corluka
Onuoha
Richards
(gulp) Sun - hopefully leaving
Fernandes
Hamman

Attacking
Elano
Catillo
Etuhu
Geo Ireland
Petrov
Johnson
Bojinov
Caciedo
Sturridge
Mpenza
Vassell
Ched Evans - The Welsh connection, will be getting his chance
Benjani
Jo - almost definately now

Also the players we are looking most likely to sign
Ronaldinho - never thought i'd say that
Bently
Santa Cruz

are all attacking players, and thats not even mentioning samaras, corradi, dickov and bianchi who are all out on loan. lol

so thats 7 defensive playes, and if counting loans and probable signings, 21 attacking players

3:1 ratio of attacking to defensive players.... that must be the highest in the prem....

Goals, Goals, Goals?

dont know what system he will play.

he played 442 at blackburn but with wingers and two big men up front.

he played 451 at wales with giggs and bellamy on the wings so it could be 433.

wih the players we currently have i dunno what he will do.

If Sun goes I will be very happy because I was a bit suspicious of why he kept on turning up in the team last year when he is clearly terrible; I smelt a bit of Shinawatra's influence with a mind to Chinese shirt sales. If he is shown the door, as he rightfully should be, it will go a little way to assuaging my fears that Thaksin is forcing rubbish players into the team.
