LOL, it was the backroom staff he was referring to not the players. I doubt it would get back to anyone though. My mate wont be arssed anyway as he told me to mention it on here to see if there's anyone else who has heard/new the same:) Suppose i should of worded it better though:D

I think I'm with Emigre on this one, bit of a mixed bag of rumours, this.

Bits that I think have substance: (1) not to be surprised if Dunne leaves (transfers happen, both expected and shock, and clubs will undoubtedly be interested in him). (2) He's not happy about his contract talks being suspended. Well of course he's not happy about that, who would be? Having said that, it's not necessarily a dealbreaker and I also wouldn't be surprised if he stays.

Things that are a bit meh or bollocks: (1) Thaksin hasn't spent any of his own money. Yet. Well someone has sanctioned the signing of quality players on good wages on several-year contracts, and he's also currently tied up trying to get his money back. (2) Most people hate Thaksin because he's a dictator. I doubt many people have even come into contact with Thaksin much since his arrival and, like it or not, he's not here to be soft on everyone and win a popularity contest. If people disagree with his decisions (as many seem to), they'll probably get over it.

yeah, rumours and speculations are annoying sometimes. but if someone has heard something then i want them to post it. however the amount of arguments we get on here over people attacking rumours or being overly defensive is much more annoying.

as for dunne, maybe he fancies a change of scenary, maybe he fears losing his starting place, or maybe he's comfortable where he is. could go either way.

as for thaksin, id presume he didnt get rich by being nice to people.

i went on a roasting tour with micah and he said he was planning on going to chelsea next season. I swear

oory to tell you lads but i spoke to someone yesterday who was a former member of the board and has close contcts that are still on the board and he tole me that taksin is taking the club down the pan and the best thing taksin could do is sell the club

True, agree with all of that......hang on, i think this is the first rational post on a thread that contains only chinese whispers, rumours and childlike bickering.
