It appears to be prediction time again and a number of pundits seem to be of the opinion that City will win the League.
I am sure we on this forum all want this but I am equally sure that not many of us are totally confident based on many years of experience.
I think this season will be even closer than it has been for a while. There are a number of banana skins, not least playing a newly promoted club first game. Clubs like Burnley and Bournemouth are going to fight to preserve their status having consolidated their position over the last couple of years and Stoke and West Brom will be as difficult as ever.
Chelsea will probably implode again, Arsenal will be Arsenal but with the advantage of no European games, Spurs seem to be way behind on transfers and have to play at Wembley where their record is not great. Liverpool will flatter to deceive and will be injured anyway.
The club that is most unpredictable (apart from City) will be Utd. They have great potential but great psychological weaknesses. Basically it is wait and see time.
As to the big prize ie.Europe, we are dependent on a decent group in qualifying and the luck of the draw after Christmas.
