Fortified as I am by a considerable dose of 12 year old Abelour I turned my thoughts to the present situation.

Up to 2 weeks ago we were odds on to win everything . Then Chelsea beat us and we had no chance of winning anything.
Liverpool then beat Arsenal 5-1 and they were the best thing since sliced bread. Tottenham had awakened the sleeping giant Adebayour and they became unbeatable. Now we have beaten the Chavs and Arse have revenged themselves upon the scousers.Next week we play Barcelona and the Arse play Bayern. then Chelski play some other team whom I can't remember but are good.
What I don't understand is that people bet their hard earned cash on who will win what and there are no guarantees, other than that Utd have cocked up spectacularly.

My personal priorities for the future are:

1 League

2 Carling Cup ---we are in the final, might as well win it

3 Fa Cup

4 Euro champs

5 To go to evacuate my bladder.

I'd rather be champions of Europe than win the Carling Cup I reckon.

Surely priority No 5 would eventually become priority No 1 and long before any of the other options come to fruition.

lets win that final for what its worth..
league and cup double would be awesome.
Domestic treble. .well I just can't imagine. .

the European cup....lets throw the dice and see what happens. .

#1 priority every season is the domestic league and always will be.

The others are all cup competitions and require a fair chunk of good fortune to win.

The domestic treble is a possible but probably only if we get knocked out of the Champs League by Barca.

If, or more likely when, a European Super League is formed that will be the end of my interest in football.
I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night but it's a holiday type excitement. Real life resumes on Saturday against Stoke.

yeah im kinda on board with this..
Id love the chumpions league, but inside i feel the league is way more important..
Its a bit daft, that i feel, win the league then we absolutely have champions league the following season..

The euro super league, would be shit, as it would just dilute anything that is special, like playing barca tomorrow, it would just become another match..

But if we did win the champs league...that would be ace, and a big fuckyou to the rags...

There'll always be an England.

Frankly, if the Munichs are suffering like they are now, I don't think I could get bored.

Bromsgrove Rovers went bust. :(

The Scum will come back eventually though. Probably not under the Glazers rule but eventually.

Fucking funny in the meantime. :p

I'd like to win the league most years and a cup here and there. CL is a bit of a holy grail for British clubs so that once every 5 or 10 would be cool.

Had to read that twice before I realised you weren't still talking about Bromsgrove Rovers.
