How can the winner of the main award not even have won manager of the league his team plays in?

because if he didn't there would have been outcries of victimism and inquiries and people being pursued beyond the grave etc etc.
Better to give it him for a quiet life.

Daily Star is claiming he has been approached about the Brazil job. Would have been the first time they've had a foreign coach but he has told them to do one

So regarding current speculation, what do people think? Obviously if we finish the season trophyless he can expect to be on his way but what if we do win, is he still the man for the job?

Guardiola has ruled himself out, Benitez is (frighteningly) being linked and Simeone has apparently been dismissed as being "too pragmatic" (quite why pragmatism is a problem for a football manager I don't know)

What?

Is this obvious?

Obvious to you that you want him on his way or obvious that you think the owners will want to change?

I cba with football anymore it's too ridiculous

You think there'd be a question over whether he's the man for the job if he wins the CL this year or the League in both seasons he's been in charge?

I find his decision making baffling at times, starting formations & personnel/subs, and his reluctance to change a formation sooner rather than later even though it’s blindingly obvious it’s not working and by which time the games gone.
I never thought I’d say this about a manager that won us the title last season .. but I'm yet to be convinced by him. True.

Agreed kickers.

Rodgers was being linked with City in the papers this morning.

Speculation I hope

kinda how i feel mate, we were all sold on mancini, partly due to his character.
But pellers, just has not convinced me he is the right man to lead us top the top of the pile, like moureen..

Maybe its his laid back swagger, i dunno..
but he has left me scratching my head this season..
and we were killing teams last year, and now were not..

engineer.......really. :?:

If I didn't do the job I was being paid to do, I would expect to lose my job.

Exactly Kickers. I struggle to think when M.P. has actually won us a game through HIS actions, tactics, substitutions etc. It seems that when we do well it is almost in spite of him rather than because of him.
