We should never have sold him.

Joey Barton has grown a comedy moustache... to help build Newcastle's Premier League spirit.

The midfielder sported a hairy upper lip and helped the Geordies to a penalty shoot out win against Deportivo La Coruna in the Riazor Stadium and lift the club's biggest trophy for years.... the magnificent Trofeo Teresa Herrera Cup that measured in at 3ft 2ins and needed two players to lift it.

Barton's new look conjured memories of the cowboy from the Village People, or being generous, Graeme Souness in his prime.

You know what gets me about you ESM , you always sit on the fence and never say what you really mean.

Probably an attempt at a disguise. If I were the Geordie police I'd be looking into any unsolved kerbab shop beatings right now.

Judging by SEC's avatar it seems to be true about Bishop.

Well as he's now a physio, I'm sure for a small fee this could be aranged.

I see Barton's been gobbing off in the press again, this time about Barry. He seems to think that Barry's respect for his employer and manager, towing the company line, is something shameful and worthy of derision. He really does seem to be oblivious to his own shortcomings and public image. What a knob jockey.

I saw that too, lol, what a tool.

Joey Barton has savaged his England rivals in a withering attacking, claiming he is the best midfielder in the country. Barton dismissed Frank Lampard as past it, Steven Gerrard as injury prone and Gareth Barry as "teacher's pet".
Full story: Daily Mirror

Was in the Mirror though.
