I reckon after the icons of the late 60's early 70's, the next group you've got entering "Legend" status are among the current crop; Komps, Silva, Hart, Aguero... And although he's not really flavour of the month, you have to say Yaya's contributed more towards us winning stuff than anyone in the past 40 years.

I understand what you mean but he did ask for the Ultimate Legend.

The older players appeared for a number of years whilst winning trophies whereas the new chaps have not yet had the same time.

Yeah I guess.

Tony Book. Player, captain, manager, top bloke. And he looks like a fine old gent now who's still got his wits about him :handgestures-thumbsup:

Lads - thank you very much for voting.

This may be a slight shock, but we have been polling both on-line and face-to-face and with 26% the leader of Man City's Ultimate Legend polling is Alan Ball. Over one in four CIty fans say Ball is the club's Ultimate Legend.

It is all very close though with many different answers given to this poll.

There is still time to vote.

All 92 club legends from England will be revealed in January.

Thank you so much to those that have voted so far.

As for RG: not a clue. Research Group?

Shaun Goater.

You couldn't help but like the bloke.

Always had a smile on his face and I will never forget his two goals in the derby at Maine Road.

Same reason why I love Pablo - just giives his all for the club.

And Joe Corrigan. As a goalkeeper growing up he was my idol.
