Hello everyone. In the last 2 years or so, I have fallen in love with football (yes I mean soccer) and Man City. Growing up across the pond in the US, we don't get a lot of exposure to football, except our version, which is odd because we really don't use our feet very much at all. But, since the last World Cup, I have really come to love it. Last season's match against QPR to win the League title was legendary, and this coming from a newer fan. I can't even begin to imagine what that was like for those of you who are lifetime fans. That only cemented my love for football and the Blues even more.

I look forward to the future of football and City. Thanks for reading and I am looking forward to contributing to this forum and make some connections with fellow supporters.

FYI, in my short 2 years of being a fan, I have developed a deep, deep dislike of the other Manchester team. So much so, it might even be unhealthy.

Well you've landed on the greatest team in the world, congrats. I will never ever forget that match v QPR. I experienced every emotion that day, I was so angry and then not 4 mins later, elation. Yes.

Well i gotta say pal your pretty unique, i played a sport on your side of the pond in the mid 90's called lacrosse, and i always was kicking a football about, much to the amusement of many americans who i know..

They would never entertain a 'soccer' match unless it was girls playing..

So for you to be into it this much is pretty cool...

As for the rags vs the rent boy chavs next week, i really don't care, unless there is a laser guided missile involved..

Actually, we are gay wannabees. We're not really gay, there is a strong undercurrent of gay banter here. It's very very funny.

Steelers? I met a Steelers fan in Ft Lauderdale one time, she was a cunt. We were in a pizza joint and she was drunk (so was I) and she walked in and starts out yelling 'I fucking OWN this pizza joint, YES, Steelers fucken-A muthafuckerrrrrs!'. I was tired of her shit with in seconds, if not for her looks she was no one. I fucked her and let her know.

I don't have a team I am fanatical about but I always look out for the Cardinals (I used to work in Tempe) and the Pats, got a mate from Boston who adores them. I love NFL for the record, fantastic game.

You guys have some funny nicknames. So far I have heard them called rags, swamp dwellers and now Munichs. I am guessing all are acceptable? Any other ones I should know? And please, don't hold anything back, from what I can tell I don't think you all will disappoint.
