In order of preference:

Arsenal have told Manchester City they can have Samir Nasri - in a swap for Carlos Tevez.

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini thinks striker Carlos Tevez, who handed in a transfer request earlier this summer but has failed to land a move away from the club so far, will stay at City because no one wants him.

Aston Villa want to sign England winger Adam Johnson on a season-long loan from Manchester City with a view to a permanent move at the end of the campaign.

Last one, we've already said we're not letting him out. If SWP was the subject, or Bellers I can understand us letting him out on loan with a view to selling. I can even understand loaning him out for the season - but with a view to a permanent move. No chance.

Shit, lazy lies

This is exactly why I think the 'Rumours' thread should be called 'The Journo lies and bullshit' thread.

And people buy in to it. I go in to work, or meet friends or even my housemate and they say 'I see you lot are in for so and so'.

What?!

Until it is on SSN or the OS then it is officially rubbish.

the Breaking News ticker tape on SSN can also be a source of wild conjecture.

OS can be tardy.

I do

Here's a lol from the daily mail..
The headline.
TOTTENHAM SEAL LOAN DEAL FOR EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR

Then the first paragraph.
TOTTENHAM hope to seal a loan deal for Manchester City outcast Emmanuel Adebayor.

Lol. SSN isn't reliable anymore. It used to be but it's lost all credibility I think. One particularly example being that about a month ago they reported the signing of Nasri was immiment. Within two minutes that ticker had changed to "City interested in Nasri".

They're rubbish.

are you going to pre-release purchase Arkham City from HMV? Will they deliver it a day early?

Is that Batman? Doubt it, never played Askham Asylum and not really in a games mood at the moment, probably since I finished the murder section of LA Noire and realised it was absolutely pointless.

Well, I received LA Noire a day early from them, known it happen to people before so there's every chance.

I wuld recommend them, yes - but the receiving your order before release isn't guarenteed, just my experience with them.

Ok. I got bored of it really quickly tbh. It's not a bad game, just one thing that irritated me so much I couldn't be bothered turning it on again.

Yeah i would plump for a used copy or cheaper .
Its been good...

Im actually playing GT5 as i type. doing some of the b spec races..
I is such a nerd for that game ..i try to dislike it, and it does have many bad points, but it somehow pulls me back in...
If only PD and sony listened to the gamers it could have been perfect..

don't play driving games, have enjoyed Burnout in the past.

On Drakes Fortune at the mo. It's fun, and I'll probably replay it on a harder difficulty once I've clocked it. Not great, but worth playing

oh ok.

The snooping around for clues (which become essential in the questioning) is a bit boring. I like how they've ironed out the driving controls so you can fucking bomb it round the city without losing control a la GTA4.

I might go to Arkham Asylum and go on a trophy hunt

Oh wait so you have played it. Does clocked mean completed? How far into it are you? When you've done Murder I can tell you what my problem was!

I played amongst thieves, its decent, but just never finished it, or got close really..
I was into it, and something else came out and it just got put aside i guess..
Ive played every gt to death, since the ps1.
Then got into sim racing on the pc on a game called GTR2, love it, but i have a wheel and pedals set up so that helps add to the experience..

But FPS is my bread and butter really..BF 3 (on the pc as god intended) looks friggin awesome..
the 12 minutes trailer of in game play is jaw dropping...
