I like the Athletico Madrid - Manchester City comparison. Both teams are the underdogs in their respective Cities. You CAN NOT fucking argue Aguero is a mercenary, he's already proven he will play for a 'smaller' team. He could go to any team he wanted and get hundreds of thousands of pounds in wages. He's comming to City (I hope). He's coming to City because of the real progress we've made and the massive potential this club has. The stupid statements about us winning nothing and having no CL football are over, what the hell will rags invent next?

I can only see United going down hill from where they are now. Can anybody say that about City?

I am not happy about this transfer. It means that as sure as eggs is eggs his fat cheating wop dago junky father in law will turn up and be introduced on the pitch and so called English city supporters wll clap and cheer.
I hope there is a clause in the contract banning him from the ground.

it says, he signs and then leads you to a picture of him signing autographs.

No report on the OS and SSN reporting that he's left the ground but are still awaiting official confirmation

The Beeb's Phil McNulty:

Aguero signs for Man City. Another real statement about their ambitions. Serious title challengers?

Sergio Agüero Signs For Manchester City

mcfc power

Arguably the hottest Premier League signing of the summer has gone through this evening as Sergio 'Kun' Agüero has signed for The Blues from Atletico Madrid...

Agüero is the MCFC record signing with an agreed fee talked up as £36 million around Eastlands tonight.

MCFC Twitter has been following the Argentine International goalsmith's movements throughout the day and confirmed the player's signing at the Etihad Stadium a few moments ago. The striker signed and almost immediately went outside the building to meet his new fans.

The prolific marksman goes straight into The Citizens squad for this weekend's Dublin Super Cup tournament and is highly likely to face the rags in the community shield the weekend after following SirAlexFerguson's latest 'noisy neighbours' City teamtalk a couple of days ago.

City's hierarchy are no mugs. 23 year old Agüero is yet another star player who fits the bill of being young and hungry for honours ahead of imminent financial regulations for European clubs.

Make no mistake about it, Agüero has been coveted by Europe's elite clubs for some time. With El Kun on board through this statement of intent, City are now undeniably serious title contenders.
