Didn't Balotelli say that when he signed, he wanted to be better than Messi???

Is our squad got enough room for 2 Messis :D

I don't watch the shite much but it seems to me that Hernadez is a very good player. There's no doubting his movement is excellent but he does seem to score a lot by making a quick move towards the front post which is not that common - I haven't analysed the situation with any kind of scientific methodology its just what has stuck in my mind. If I were a defender I would certainly be watching for that front post movement.

i'm sure we could crowbar them in, if he delivers on his word of course.

and yeah, i'm loving see this guy turn out for us. its' a bit stunning that he's scored 6 in 4 games, and i'm a bit fucked off at the rags upstaging us on scores and shrek doing the hat trick symmetry as well. of course because the press wanks all over the rag scum that's gotten more limelight - bar the "never been a more perfect debut" for kun.

conk on hernandez, although there was a goal at the weekend that he was jinking left and right for space and pulled away from the defender who just looked confused. was that hernandez? i think it was hernandez?

Aguero has the best goal tally so far of any foreign import ever to move to the Premiership. This needs to be shouted from the rooftops.
He is going to break all sorts of records in our line up I reckon.

Good luck affording him Napoli, he's going to be one of the most highly valued players in the world in the next one or two years.

It's not tbf. Every article I read, radio show/podcast I listen to gives us more time and credit. Most dismiss the 8-2 v Arsenal for the freak result it was. The press with regards to our performances and results has been glowing.

is that including the most recent one of the mail "everything you can do, we can do better"?

they seem to be, at least in some quarters, rather grudging in their praise.

I'm sure there are some articles/papers that focus on the rags more, but in general I think most are devoting more time to us than them.

Not that it matters. As long as we're winning and playing like we are then I'm not concerned about them out-scoring us.

Won't happen. Neither of us are going to keep winning games by these scorelines anyway.

Oh, don't go all even handed and reasonable on us Squidge - this is the Forum after all. There's a limited appetite for that sort of thing.
