Unlike any other decent defender like Carvalho, Vidic who always tread very carefully?

He has been decent for Everton and actually excellent for Oz. He's not fantastc but at the time we were looking he'd have been good for us. One distinct difference he has to others is he tries a long ball on the ground rather than a Dunney hooooof.

I agree. He's decent enough. Always thought too much was made of his pay packet. There are worse players on a lot more.

He suffers from Bramble-itus, something Dunne suffered too - where many people only ever watch the highlights, the only highlights they ever show of him are defensive fuck ups... So most people thinks he's shit. A lot of Villa fans didn't want Dunne - thought he was slow and shit. I'd be surprised if any still think that.

Neill is excellent for Australia. Like most Aussie players, he seems to step up in Internationals.

actually neil is doing great at galatasaray, and he hasnt been sent off yet.
