Ruud's return to Madrid is complicated since Hamburg doesn't let the player go, althoug he is trying everything he can to return.

But like Marca informs this Monday, the club is evaluating other options if the operation breaks out. Carlos Tévez is the player that Real Madrid wants if Ruud stays in Holland. However, this operation "is very difficult" (xD), because the spanish club want a cesion for Tévez, and City will only let him go in a transfer, and they want about 40 millions in addition to his high wage.

Real Madrid has the advantage that Tévez wants to change airs. The south american is not happy in England, and was close to leave a month ago. His relationship with Mancini is not good, but they are in terms until June. However, if Madrid try to go after Tévez, he could force his way to Spain. The only problem is that if Madrid buy Tévez, the future transfers targets will become more difficult (Agüero and Llorente), that's why they want him for a few months.

So.... if they can't get a 34 your old striker that is way past his best they'll go for one of the most in-form striker in the world instead?

Weird but yes. They only want him for a few months, in the next transfer market they want Agüero or Llorente.
