This made the Spanish 9pm news tonight!

Spanish to English translationShow romanization

Barcelona and Manchester City have met this morning to negotiate the transfer of Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure, who wishes to leave all Pep Guardiola directed to anchor in another where she's not so difficult to achieve ownership.

The president of Barcelona, Joan Laporta, explained today that Yaya Toure's agent Dimitri Selçuk, announced the club will or possibility "of a change of scenery this summer. And, faced with this dilemma, the club is willing to "listen out of courtesy", offers arrive by him.

The Blaugrana technical secretary of the whole, Txiki Begiristain, and football director of the entity, Raul Sanllehí, met today with envoys of the City. The English club, which plays the brother Yaya, Kolo Toure, is also interested in Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but Laporta has assured that the Swedish striker, "is not for sale."

The maximum Barca president of the entity which made the remarks after attending a founding act of Johan Cruyff, has predicted that, in principle, the club does not arise out to any player.

"For next season, our intention is to keep the current squad, reinforced with the addition of (David) Villa, which has already occurred, and some other player," said.

Laporta has insisted that, if he were, Touré Yaya "continue at the club for many years, because there are few players in the world like him," but left an open door to the transfer, "for the appreciation we have for him" .

Barcelona president has proved sympathetic to the Ivory Coast, "you would like to play more minutes and that generates some concern" and Begiristain left to negotiations on a possible departure.

"If Cesc can come to a market price, we will make every effort to come, but a price has to be logical and mercado2

Laporta has confirmed the renewal of canterano Pedro Rodríguez, "the recommendation of the Technical Secretariat and because he deserves it," also spoke about the signing of Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

"If Cesc can come to a market price, we will make every effort to come, but it must be a logical and market price," said Joan Laporta, who added that "when a club makes an exorbitant price, signal it wants to prevent transfer ", and in this sense, the club will not pay" a price that is out of the market. Im not convinced about Ibra, more due to his age and lack of Pace and what they are supposed to be asking. He is certainly a skilled player and strong though and did ok in italy.

Barca are saying they wont sell him. If they get Villa and rid of Henry, I can see him staying there.

Yaya Toure's agent Dimitri Seluk claims the Ivory Coast midfielder could form part of the deal to bring Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas back to Barcelona this summer.

Toure has long been linked with a move to England with Manchester City, captained by older brother Kolo, thought to be leading the race for his signature.

City's cross-town rivals Manchester United are also reportedly interested, while Kolo's former club Arsenal have been monitoring him for several years.

Last week Arsenal rejected a £29million (35million euros) offer from Barcelona for Fabregas as they look to keep hold of the Spain international but if Toure is thrown into the mix as part of an improved bid, the Gunners could reconsider.

Seluk has previously revealed that a move to the Barclays Premier League was all but a done deal and hinted Toure was set for a move to Eastlands, something he now feels is not the case.

"There's a lot of interest in the deal (for Toure)," Seluk told Rac-1. "Arsene Wenger likes him and Arsenal are interested.

"If the conditions are good, everything can be finished soon.

"He could come into the Cesc deal and Barca and Arsenal are struggling to come to an agreement.

"Everything has changed with City, because they talk a lot but then afterwards they don't appear to be a rich club but rather a bankrupt one."

We've probably been quoted ridiculous money for him and walked away, which means he's probably just bitter.

So basically they want to get about £29m for Toure then buy Fabregas for about £29m? Crazy spaniards.

I guess he will be part of THE FABREGAS DEAL, I see us having a slim chance of signing him. But, we still offer him better salary and playing alongside his brother :D.
