More about this in today's papers. Looking increasingly likely. If we get fourth, there will be enough games for everyone. It's LB cover we need, though!

Or, if there is any truth in the Ireland to United rumour - let's demand Patrice Evra + £10M.

seriously though, we are seeing it through blue tinted glasses. No way we can expect any more than 15-20mill max for stevie. Sad but true

Boateng is a very similar player to Kompany. I find Boateng is a bit stronger overall, but Kompany seems a bit more talented anyway - just my opinion. But the difference is minimal.
They both have equal attitudes, both are really quick, strong technic, have the ability to score and help in the offense, better at the ground than in the air. Don´t know how Kompany improved at Manchester, but Boateng is young, so he will also have poorer performances. This could be Kompanys advantage, but I´m sure, Boateng will also improve and become more constantly.

Last time I really spoke your language is like 10 years ago, so have this in mind while reading ;)

guy in my footy team (afl) is a german and hanburg is his team, he says Boateng makes huge blunders every now and then but is an awesome talent and in a few years will be world class. He also said Kompany was weird and that he lacked the mental strength. Which was surprising
