EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR'S future at Manchester City is already in doubt.

The African attacker is one of the highest paid players in the country and has only played 18 times in the Premier League for the Eastlands outfit.

City's plans for next season depend largely on the future of Roberto Mancini, but they also face a battle to hold on to Adebayor.

The latest training ground rumblings at City suggest the club will have a fight on their hands to keep hold of the Togo forward.

Adebayor had his heart set on a move to Chelsea last summer and only moved to City because they were the only club to match Arsenal's asking price and his frightening salary demands.

The 26-year-old has a decent return of a goal every other game in the league this term.

He isn't unhappy is he!?

The article thinks he is.

He probably isn't.

That's what I was thinking.

It's only a newspaper article.

He hasn't shown any signs of being unhappy.

Although I like having Adebayor in the team, it does strike me that he is... In the nicest possible terms business minded. I can't see Chelsea or any other team matching his current salary so I can't see him leaving.

Seriously though, if he does go, man we [the fans] are gonna cop some serious piss taking shit. ffs. :(

He's been banned. He's been recovering from the ACN trauma. The games he's missed have not been due to us not wanting to play him. Shit journalism.

I like that the artcile states one goal every other game is a "decent record". One goal every two games is outstanding. How hard is it for them to praise us?

They'll never praise us now mate.

Now we're 'multi-millionaires' we'll never get praised as we're 'expected' to win.

There's no 'probably' about it, it's definitely a massive pile of wank. See the link between the two bolded bits?

And he's played whenever he's been available, that's just fucking lazy journalism. He's been banned/at ACN/recovering from attack so yes of course he's not played as many games as everyone else.

It's just a way to try and make it look like he's been shit really?

I Know It Annoys Me Too I Was Just Doing It To Add Emphasis To That Particular String Of Words By Inferring That They Together Constituted A Proper Noun

And it's really bloody annoying to type. Goes against all instincts like I imagine driving a car with left hand drive would feel like.

Because he fights for City, he fighted for Hughes, and If you can repair, when he met Terry vs Chelsea, he simply turned the face to the other side ;)
He's the man that fights for the cause on City
