I think your all spoilt and being slightly unfair because our standout players are now people like tevez bellamy and de jong. Elano was ok for us.

Not being unfair at all, and it's got nothing to do with the players we have now. Elano was shite in most of the matches he played for us. Far too many games where he made no input at all, looked like he wanted to be somewhere else, and might as well have been somewhere else.

It was a shame, because he's clearly got some superb football skills, but he's a mard-arse who isn't prepared to graft when things aren't going his/the team's way.

Ambertonte is right ftr.

Elano never missed a penalty for us, not a single one. As good as he was when he first arrived, he was conversely worse for the second half of his stay at City.

I think Sibierski also falls into this category.

Give it up Shimmer, no Turkish player will ever be good enough to play for us.

I'd love to see us sign Mata from Valencia. He's fucking ace, can play on either wing or up front and Valencia aren't in a position to turn down our grubby, tainted, slowly-poisoning-the-earth money.

And he's white.

Does it not make a difference that he plays for Switzerland?

Was gonna pick up on your mis-quote too but couldn't be bothered. Nice editing.

Cole and Ballack released by Chelsea.

I'd take Joe Cole.

Yes. But I'd rather we looked to a younger model.
