Why would they want to leave? Shay and Craig both want to achieve something in the last years of their careers and they have a chance of doing it at Manchester City. Both will stay if the manager wants to keep them.

They signed for Manchester City and not Mark Hughes FC.

Never thought I'd say this, but I wouldn't take him. I think Given is as good, if not better. Casillas is the only keeper I would take over Given.

If any player hands in a transfer request over this then they are fully welcome to fuck right off. As a fan I do not get paid a shit load to care, I do so because I love the club and I am going nowhere so if they think they somehow care more than the fans then they are deluded.

I love Bellers and Shay but any kind of dissent from them that affects the next game and they will no longer be welcome in my view. I want players loyal to the club, not to one manager.

If I can move on then they have no excuse.

I'm sure all the players will crack on. Might be a different story for Bellers in the summer if/when Hughes has a new club I suspect.

Given's a funny one. He probably thought he was getting away from boardroom interference and managerial sackings when he left Newcastle. Unlucky Shay - you ain't seen nothing yet. :approve:
