Yeah right. £7m for a 34 year old that has failed at two PL clubs already. We're just being linked with anyone Mancini's ever spent more than 10 minutes with.

Veron is way better ,much much better than Viera thou.
At least he( Veron) would bring some extremely technical playmaking in the mix.
Even if starting from the bench,or plaiyng part-time.
( Viera,instead brings nothing,or less)

Bloody hell, just read that Chivu Fractured his skull in todays game.

VERONA, January 6 - The defender Chivu Cristhian will be submitted to a hospital in Verona-surgical injury to the head after the game straight into today's match with Chievo. Lo ha reso noto lo staff dell'Inter. He announced the staff of Inter. L'operazione, secondo quanto si apprende, dovrebbe servire a ridurre una piccola frattura al cranio riportata da Chivu nello scontro testa contro testa con il clivense Pellissier. The operation, according to reports, would serve to reduce a small skull fracture reported by Chivu in the clash head to head with the clivensi Pellissier. « C'è apprensione per Chivu, che è in ospedale - ha detto Mourinho - e dovrà essere sottoposto a un intervento ». "There's apprehension for Chivu, who is in hospital - said Mourinho - and should be subjected to an intervention."

Sounds like a tribute band for a certain 1980's dance-pop group.

We had scouts at the Palermo game yesterday looking at Simon Kjær, a 20 year old danish Defender.

Manchester City are on the verge of a deal to sign Cristian Ansaldi, 23, for £4 million from Rubin Kazan. The Argentina left back has helped his team to win consecutive Russian titles since moving from Newell’s Old Boys two years ago and played in the 2-1 victory away to Barcelona in the Champions League in October.

He would become the third left back the club have signed in the past year. Sylvinho, 35, who joined last summer, has been deputising in that position recently because Wayne Bridge has been out with a knee injury and may not return for another month

Slightly harsh, remember his first few games at the club i wasn't happy but he's settled in now and looks comfortable enough.

Debatable. He cost 12+ million and is on about 90k a week. Poor signing imo.

I'd like to see Lescott at LB with Komp and Kolo in the middle.

This Ansaldi chap is a right footed LB.

Will be interesting to see how he handles players like Lennon running at him. If he signs that is.

this concerns me, and i'll tell you why. and it has nothing to do with the player.

we were linked with this guy when hughes was still boss. i distinctly remember it cos the team he plays for gave inter and barca the run around

so, if we are still after him now mancini is boss, who's making up the transfer target list for the club?
