We would never sell. The whole point of buying another left back would be to have two quality players competing for the position. Makes zero sense selling.

Papers seeing we are interested in buying a left back and therefore making the story up, as I am sure is your opinion.

Benny loved Lahm. He was made to look a punk though by Spain in Euros, actually he wasnt en forme most of Euros which worries me about him. Lahm that is, not Benny who was always en forme.

oh aye, I'm one of the few bridge fans on here, two international left backs is exactly what we need

He is madly in love with the Golden gate bridge, the Forth Rail bridge and the Millau viaduct.

I think Bridge is alright too. He had a nightmare start to his City career where he was personally responsible for 3 goals in his first 4 games or something, and I think he's still paying for that to an extent. You watch him over 90 minutes and he does a lot of good work at both ends of the pitch.

Golden Gate is a wonderful piece of engineering, and anyone who says different is a fool, a fool i say !

Even if we get Lahm I can't see selling Bridge, he would make a great cover IMO.

Lahm is a class act.

His stock went down slightly for about 4 minutes in the Euro 2008 semi. He was turned inside out by Sabri for Turkey's late equaliser. Then he just strolled up the other the end and scored winner, a cracking goal too.

not too fussed how players perform in international comps tbh. some players ahve had storming tournaments but then been shite for the rest of their league time. the fact he is right footed cnocerns me though, and would suggest it is bollocks, considering the emphasis hughes put on having a left and right footed centreback pairing. surely he wouldn't want a rigth footed left back?

Manchester City hope they find Milan's Ignazio Abate under the tree on Christmas morning, but more likely to be there is the £6m-rated Rubin Kazan left-back Cristian Ansaldi, tied up in a bow, with a little tag reading "To Manchester City, Merry Christmas. From Manchester City x x x – PS: If you don't like it I've got the receipt".
