I can't stand him. He treats me like shit. It was over between us a long time ago.

Im so sick of reading articles every day on how excited Robinho is by the prospect of going to Barca and how his Dad thinks it would be great. Seriously If Robinho doesnt want to be here then he should leave. Im really not that fond of him at city and I find it disrespectful to the fans that he is excited by getting out of here. So if he really does want to go, I say good riddance to bad rubbish.

Thats true Squidge, and hey honestly id love it if he stayed. Im just bored of reading every day new articles about him and barca. All im saying is that if he doesnt want to be here then we shouldnt try to hold on to him. But I agree that most of it probably is nuisance journalism, im just sick of it.

hi! I'm New Here, but I saw that robiho when I was in the santos de brasil the same problems to go to Madrid, then Real Madrid to go to the city then that means that is a type of conflict it is best to fence and bring a better player as navas Sevilla is very good and much younger

I appreciate that English ain't your first language but Robinho is 25, Navas is 24 - hardly much younger, is it?

Also... Robinho >>> Navas

You mean like Ronaldo came out after the Champions League Final and said he'd definitely be at United this year?

An appropriate thread to post Robinho's latest utterances:

Quote:
Robinho targeted a long stay at Santos when the Manchester City forward started his six-month loan spell at his former club on Monday.

Robinho was greeted by Pele on his Santos homecoming

"My goal is to stay a long time," he told reporters. "If the president wants to extend my contract to four years that would be great. I love Santos and love to play for Santos."

Robinho arrived at the Brazilian club in a helicopter with the great Pele, landing on the Vila Belmiro pitch to a fanfare welcome from 15,000 fans. Former Santos and Brazil forward Pele was also keen for Robinho to stay long term.

"I hope this passage is not merely for a few months but that it's permanent," said the club's biggest idol. "I hope Robinho recovers (his form) for Santos and the national team."

The 26-year-old asked for the move back to his first club in order to cement a place in Brazil's World Cup team. "I have my objective of going to the World Cup and being at my best at the World Cup (in South Africa in June)," said Robinho.

"I believe this can be my World Cup," he added, referring to Brazil being favourites to lift the trophy. "In the national team competition is very big, there are a lot of good players (and) that had me worried," he said after being handed his former number seven shirt by Santos president Luis Alvaro Ribeiro.

Robinho struggled to hold down a regular place at City after moving from Real Madrid in 2008. "I'm not going through a good period but that's normal," he said. "I spent time injured and that affected me but with a lot of work we're going to turn things round."

Robinho took a pay cut to leave City, who paid a British record £32.5 million to buy him. The Brazilian international, who scored 83 goals in 190 matches for Santos between 2002-05, hopes to make his debut in the "classico" against Sao Paulo in the Paulista championship on Sunday.

See ya.

That Pele's a two-faced prick an' all. Didn't he spend the better part of last season slagging Robinho off?

Certainly doesn't sound like he's going to be hoping on a plane to Manchester on the 4th of August does it?

I get the feeling he won't be returning even if no permanent deal is agreed, he'll just do a repeat of lasts seasons going AWOL from the training camp.

They can have him, for 30 mill.

Where would they get the money to buy him? We aren't going to sell him for nothing.

Pinch of salt. He said only a couple of months ago that he wanted to stay with us and become a legend. Words are cheap and minds are easily changed.
