That said, my objections are evaporating now he's officially a blue and I'm getting used to the idea (as they normally do), so I'll stand down from this one now.

Well played sir.

Exactly. Am I mistaken but hasn't Lescott said a number of times that he doesn't really like playing at LB?

He played 20 starting games last season, that is what I just heard from ESPN Brazil.

I'd say my daughter can defend better, and she's yet to walk.

First two games aside where he was lacking match fitness and was responsible for 2 goals, I'd say Bridge's defending has been alright on the whole.

He is more of an attacking full back though. Barcelona used him over Abidal when they needed more attacking power usually. But he is also a decent defender.

Good signing. Happy with this. Bags of experience and can only be good for the younger players.

No point saying anymore than that as it's all already been covered.

Great signing. Was really happy to read about it. Wayne Bridge has been good the last few couple of games but he he was really suspect against Blackburn. Sylvinho is a great back-up . He still has lots in his legs and is always a threat going forward. He played all 90 mins in the CL finals and was just great. Nice to have him at City.
