2 years after jardel moved to sporting - galatasaray,
after her wife broke up with her, he started to stink in football.
I remember him playing in the premier league as well. Fulham i believe?
he played like 2-3 games thats all.

Her wife used to be a brazilian porn star by the way.

I am not sure about the brazilian league.
every single brazilian that came to turkey
such as
roberto carlos, mario jardel, claudio taffarel, lincoln, elano, adrea dos santos all said that the Turkish league is much faster and harder than the Brazilian league.

But if you are to say which leagues bring out more stars to the football world
Than perhaps Brazil should be in very top.

for me argentinian league and the brazilian is the same.
and MLS is a joke.
most of their football fields are also used for american football.
its horrible.

Your definition of horrible differs to mine.

I dont see enough Brazilian, Argentine or Turkish league to really make a comment but I do see Galatasary and Fenerbache teams in Champs League.

i meant horrible for the MLS football fields... When i used to live in NY i went to a football game( so called soccer over there) and the field was also used for american football, and there were "yard lines" everywhere. so confusing.

By the way if you guys ever go to USA. Please do not ever watch a game of baseball...
3-4 hours i was in the stadium in a game of YANKEES, and darn people were reading newspapers or just talking to each other in the stands.
so boring.

but yet again if baseball is your taste, than you might enjoy.

If it was THE Yankees, that was the problem. The Yankees are like the rags, media favourites. You have the plastics that support them, and everyone else hates them.

Come and watch the Phillies. :)

Turkish league? Funny you mentioned that, considering that Besiktas won it last season.

If you were talking about SPL, then well, I agree.

I'd also like to add that I had absolutely nothing to do with the sale of Elano. I swear to god.

Just for the record, this is how the top 6 finished in Turkey last season.

Besiktas - 71
Sivasspor - 66
Trabzonspor - 65
Fenerbahce - 61
Galatasaray - 61
Bursaspor - 58

So to say the turkish league is just Fenerbahce, Besiktas & Galatasaray... is wrong based on last season.

This is how the SPL finished:

Rangers - 86
Celtic - 82
Heart of Midlothian - 59
Aberdeen - 53
Dundee United - 53
Hibernian - 47

SPL = SHIT

league1?
you mean the french league 1 with lyon, marseille etc or the english league 1?
or was it labelled division 1?

i believe french and turkish league are head to head but obviously france gives more stars to the world.
For instance last year galatasaray eleminated bordeaux in uefa cup and bordeaux was the french champions.
but i would put french league ahead of turkish league. but not a great difference.

Hum, you aren't trying to be sarcastic, are you?

It is not always easy to detect sarcasm on the internet so I am just wondering.

Arda, how did Galatasaray get in the Europa League. They finished 5th, I thought is was the top 4 that qualify for Europe (CL/EL)? Did they win the league cup or something?

this is the final standing of the league last year
1-) Besiktas
2-) Sivasspor
3-)Trabzonspor
4-) Fenerbahce
5-) Besiktas

normal first 2 goes to CL and the 3th and 4th goes to UEFA cup. Also the winner of the Turkish cup goes to UEFA CUP...
But Besiktas Won the turkish cup as well last year... they beat fenerbahce in the final. and since fenerbahce was already going to the uefa cup, galatasaray took the last spot.

Galatasaray was in front of fenerbahce but daniel guiza scored a goal at the 90th minute in the last game of the season which brought fener in front of galatasaray
