Barcelona set to make a bid according to SSN this morning... I wonder if this has anything to do with the 'relationship building' talks we had with them? To be honest I would be gutted if Kompany went - but I can see it happening.

Just seen this, I can't see this happening were not a selling club anymore plus I believe Vinny would rather stay here, I would be gutted if this happened, he's a tremendous player and potential captain of the club

Would be gutted to see him go, but he has said he would like to play for Barcelona one day. As said, we don't need to sell and I think he'd rather stay at City, at least for the next season or two. Fingers crossed he stays.

if they offer a swap deal with messi as part of it then i wouldn't be too sad.

Yeah I concur with this it would certainly soften the blow, Iniesta and Xavi as part of the deal would also ease the pain
