Joleon Lescott is set to tell Moyes he wants out. The reports suggest that he is excited about a move to eastlands and to be apart of the 'City Revolution'.

We'll, looks like were getting another great defender! Can't wait for the start of the premier league! Big year for the citizens...

Hello .
You are back.
Nice to see you again.

Fans stopped using the name Citizens in 1958.

He's livin' large as possible, totally stoppable
Style topical, vividly optical
Listen, you'll see him sometimes he'll be 'em
Cops, critics and punks, never ever wanta see Matheos on FORUM
Well, that's too bad, Apocalypse Now he's back and he's mad
He's comin', you're runnin' cold and cunning
Matheos on the mic, Dribble Dicking
After your neck, checkin' respect, makin' you sweat
Silly Syndicate boy in effect
The rap de-motivator, amateur, stalker, night rhyme wanker
Words thrillin', so real they're illin', the mis-hit author
Gettin' louder than a shot gun, you don't want none

Why do you consistantly spell 'well' as "we'll"?

Oh, and it's "You're an idiot!"

That's harsh. I was just dropping a rhyme about'chu. Not many get that from me.

For what it's worth I don't think you're a retart.

Personally hope Lescott deal is a true.

I just wonder why the fuck we aren't in for Hangeeland.

Bert, the "Citizens" nickname is a weird one. I remember as a kid the card/sticker shit kids would collect had us down as that but noone I've ever met has ever used it?

I know . My Dad never used it or knew anyone else who did. Much more common in my youth were "Sky blues" or just "Blues".
"Citizens" was used in the papers sometimes and as you say on collectables etc, but never by fans.

Yeah, Blues or Sky Blues I do remember. Prolly Blues more than Sky Blues who I think Coventry were quite widely know as.

Whilst we're down memory lane, I was reading Mike Summerbee's autobiog last night and read the bit about him and his mate Ernie riding a tandem through town to play in the first team at Swindon. Top man. :approve:
