Yes but I think there is a saturation point, a balance needs to be found otherwise players not getting to play get unsettled.

I honestly dont think we need more strikers/attack MF, but then again I aint no Premiership Manager.

imo

three central midfield positions in our formation. first choice ireland, de jong, barry.

so back up is zabaleta, elano if he is staying? kompany if he isnt at CB? Johnson if he can lose four stone?

i must be forgetting people.

Guti can still pick a pass like nobody's business. Would be the best 'throughball' passer in La Liga; however his body is getting older and he fades out of games. Think Elano, without the whinging but also without the upside, but 5 years older.

He's a stroppy twat, Tevez would have to do alot of running if we get both him and Adebayor.

No thanks.

Elano > Guti

If City keeps Elano there is no need for Guti.

Hey, it is WC's year, maybe Elano will finally start to play as well as he plays for Brazil every game?

Don't need him.

He's a decent player - nothing more.

Apart from the fact that we may be spending for the sake of it, I have to say that Guti is up there with Xabi Alonso, Aquilani and the rest.

Tremendous vision, great passer, cool on the ball.

He's not been a regular starter for years because he's so inconsistant, I seem to recall

Do we really need more players like that?
