Would only be bench cover at best. Could teach alot to out young players ala Hamman last year. Good move.

If were as good as we think we are we will be competing in lots of games this year, and Guti is the exact sort of cover we need to play a big role in cup games and the odd league game. Win/Win to me.

does it really matter? and what's ridiculous. out top band seems to be 120k-180k... mid range of that? probably have to match his real wage.

we have enough attacking players i feel, especially if we get adebayor. defence needs attention now.

who's to say it isnt getting attention? arent we bidding for terry and lescott? why put everything else on hold until a defender is sorted?

Exactly. Get all the deals done asap so they can all get together and build their awesomeness. I'm sure we are working on the defence issue.

Yes but I think there is a saturation point, a balance needs to be found otherwise players not getting to play get unsettled.

I honestly dont think we need more strikers/attack MF, but then again I aint no Premiership Manager.

You could be right there, but that's a different thing to saying we aren't doing anything about the defence. The wheels could well be in motion.
