Won't be £18mill. £11.5 mill plus more based on appearances.

He's a good player there's no doubting it but 18million for a striker they paid 3 mill for because he spent nearly all his career at bayern on the physio table, spent most of last season on blackburns physion table, i dont think its good.

Oh my God. He admits at his own site how injury prone he is. I have my doubts if he is going to be a good addition.

I doubt RSC has any say in that website to be fair.

Santa for about 8-10 mill seems more like it, Hughes seen him at blackburn and even with unlimited funds he still wants to buy him. So im gonna trust his judgement

Apparently he's got to pass a very thorough medical over the next few days.

I'm a bit meh about it. If he could stay fit then I think he'd be a good addition to the squad.

On the plus side though this whole saga should be concluded one way or another in a couple of days.

I did read yesterday that he spent the arse end of last season getting fit for any move to city. Meaning that he was fit enough to have played for Blackburn, he just didn't want to jeopardise the move.

OK, I'm adding mid-post smileys to my list of forum pet peeves (sp?) along with the abbreviation 'EPL' and people who condemn EVERYTHING that they don't have a particular interest in.
