WOW-Man City moments away from Eto'o deal.

Vital Manchester City understands Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o is on the verge of signing a five-year Eastlands deal.

Our source, who incidentally told us way back in November 2008 that City were showing an interest in the 28-year-old believes a deal is close to completion.

Reports in the national press suggest the Cameroon international has told officials he is happy to sign, however figures of an estimated £1 million a month after tax salary are believed to be slightly exaggerated with £200,000 a week being more realistic.

Reliable sources don't usually start their headlines with "Wow." But I'd love it to be true. Dunno why Barca would break up the most successful attack ever*. Not until they had a replacement anyway.

But i don't think city are serious about sammy..
i think teves is more of a chance..

If Barca get Villa I can see it happening. But I think its still a bit unrealistic, Huntelaar would be a better option.

Why did it hit the skids, on sky sports news they were reporting that he was having a medical at Madrid ? must of been a hell of a skid
