He's no way worth the 18m quoted, don't reckon he's much better than what we've got, if at all

Steve Bruce is looking to make Richard Dunne his first signing at Sunderland by matching City's £5 mill valuation and promising to make Dunne captain.

I wouldn't miss Dunne. I do recognise his contribution to the club though.

noooo
look at richards' runs to opposition 18yard box. remember the frantic "oh fuck, what do i do now?" look on his face, the uselessly pinged balls either into touch or a defender? or the fucking hopeless positioning defensively?

now, remember johnson for england, the purposeful balls in? or for portsmouth and the competent defending and positioning?

that's why he'd be good.

£18 million is the price you get quoted when you're richer than god and fighting wih chlesea for a player. of course he's not worth that much, but iot's the price we may have to pay.

So because the opposition were poor, we can't comment on any of the players?

Johnson was the best player on the pitch in that match.

i refer you to darlo.
if he's so shit, why would chelsea look to buy him back?
seeing as we have converted zab into a midfielder, and presuming he stays there, the only fullback we have is richards.
this i do not like, on last seasons form.

Sources inside Arsenal say that it is 50/50 over Toure leaving for City as Arsenal are about to close the deal on some Ajax defender

I reckon Zabs might have a hard time breaking into our midfield next season, much as I rate him there.
