Should try and get Sebastian Schweinsteiger on the right.

Pigsty has no flair. Hard worker but not the sort of winger I'd want at City. Doesn't excite enough. Typical German really. Merely functional. Germans are so dull.

And they win stacks of trophies.

That they do, but then so do Brazil. Know which I'd rather watch.

I don't want SWP back. Lost momentum and I reckon motivation too. Career's going down quicker than George Michael in a public toilet.

He has not done himself justice since he left us. He may have loads of cash but he is less of a player.

Two words: Damien Duff. £5m was supposed to be a bargain.

Poor Duffer! Saw him running around during a friendly just after the season ended. He didn't have much joy.

That's what being an permanent unused substitute at chelsea does to you. I'd be surprised if he even knows his own name anymore.

Well, I'm surprised he hasn't packed it in by now. Class player, but seems to have spent half his playing days on the treatment table.

I'd sooner have Bentley but if we can't get him, definitely go for SWP.

We need a right winger, got Petrov on the left, but surely we can't go on with Vassell right wing!?

I think you're being a bit optimistic there.

Id say no. There was no bigger fan than me of SWP when he was with us. But he left city and followed his idiot of a dads advice and where has that got him? Im afraid if he came back to city there would no heart left in him, and its almost admitting he was wrong. He's had his day i think. If he had stayed im pretty sure he would have been the one contending the RM position for England not Bentley.

I'm sure he'd have had it nailed down as his own by now. His career has definitely gone backwards since he left city that's for sure.
