I heard this on the radio earlier, said he'd like to be in the chumps league, don't know whether that would rule us out completely, hopefully Hughes can have a word with him and persuade him to come to a club that is getting ready for bigger and better things.

I hope he doesn't wanna come to city.

We are screaming out for a decent right sided player and they don't come more decent than Bentley, i suppose Milner at Newcastle could be alright, or even Pennant whose being sold by liverpool.If Bentley does decide to go to one of the top 4 them other 2 ain't bad.

All three of those players I would dread coming to city. Don't really rate any of them. Sorry.

I just remembered we got Kelvyn Ethuhu there who i made 1 or 2 appearences last season , i think he's a right sided player, hopefully he'll get a chance to show what he can do and become a regular, also we got that boy Weiss, so it ain't all that bad.

Agreed apart from maybe Bentley. He's the only one that's shown any improvement since he left Arsenal. Pennant has been mediocre at both Brum & Liverpool and Milner has hardly shone at Newcastle and Villa (I think) before that.

Milner is class, or at least had spells of class at Villa. My mate is a Villa season ticket holder and he couldn't say enough about the ability of Milner. Either Milner or Bentley would improve us as a team, giving us more balance and greater scoring opportunities.

Pennant is a waster. He'd be a terrible buy.
