But we want players who want to play for the club, not players only here for the meal ticket. I accept that if Ronaldinho arrives then he may indeed be here for the cash, but I'd make an exception with a player of his quality who could still be as good as anyone. Besides, he has something to prove and that would work in our favour.

but who wants to play for their club anymore? dunney was the last guy you would expect to not re sign his contract and look what happened. Its all about the money emigre.

Nah. Dunney is signing a new contract. It was not all about money imho.

If he wants to play for the club surely he will re sign on the amount he deemed good enough for him last contract, its not like he is getting any younger and he wont improve his defending just maintain his very high standard

Perhaps an opening to sign Podolski, as I just read in the paper (Süddeutsche Zeitung) that he has criticised Bayern München for looking for additional strikers.
