There was a rumour doing the rounds at the weekend that Hughes may make Sidwell one of his signings -

Don't know about this one - he was a good player at reading - but will a year getting splinters in his arse have taken the edge off ?

Think we had a thread on this already Timperly, but I'l have a go.

I actually havent seen enough if the guy play to make any comment on him, most seem to think he's ace, I really dont know. I dont think that his having been bench bound for sometime will effect his game.

I think we could do much better than him. Plus £6million and big wages for a player they have never used and signed on a free transfer....

He wouldnt move from London originally as he is a southerner and his family are settled down there. Could be a bad move for us IMO.

i think Steve Sidwell is a pretty decent player , but didnt have a chance at chelsea i would like to see him here at manchester city
