Even though Jo has gone to Everton, do we really need another forward?

We're the 2nd top scorers in the PL and have a choice of Robinho, Bellamy, Caicedo and Sturridge with Benjani, Vassell, Bojinov and Evans in the background.

We also got Ireland, Elano and SWP to play behind the forward(s) if Hughes chooses to play with 1 up.

I forgot all about Bojy, no we dont need another striker unless its a world class one

Do we though? We've scored 41 league goals without playing with a target man, I think the centre of defence is the main problem.

A "goalscorer" would be nice, one that isn't a midget preferably

Stoke are a big team and have taken points off better teams that us this season.

You have defend properly against them, cos when they get in front, they just get behind the ball and defend.

It doesn't matter how big your forwards are if you can't put a decent cross in!!!

I didn't think i'd ever say it, but how we've missed Petrov!!!

RSC will be a good addition..its bellers that we did;nt need, but he here now and can do a job thats for sure..

Don't forget to add Caicedo. He's got qualities and can do a job for us.

The thought of us paying £25m for RSC as is being reported at the moment is absolutely fuckin absurd!!!

I would've liked RSC but £25m is ridiculous - he'd never be able to live up to that price tag. Think how boring it is hearing everone having digs about Jo being a '19 million pound striker', and double it.

The club flatly deny it. So end of.

Rather than sign a middling front man like RSC, I'd rather we saved our efforts for a top quality player, whoever he might be. RSC would be a short term solution only.

Yeah I'd go along with this. We've got the personel, we just need to find a way of making them perform more consistantly. Maybe its time to go back to 442...

As I said earlier in the thread, scoring goals hasn't been our problem.
