MUEN have reported that us and the rags are both to bid 15 mill for Santa Cruz - we'll have to shift some of our other forwards out cos we'll have about 10 of the buggers soon

Yeah, we have too many, and some quality ones too. I'd sooner the money was spent on a left back, right winger or a midfield general. I reckon those are the only areas that we really need to improve now. (Assuming we persuade Dunnie to stay.)

tbh - I reckon the first player Hughes will bid for will be Warnock - the right back

Can he play LB, because we already have Corluka, Richards and Ned all vying for the right side of defence, and all vastly superior to Warnock.

Conker. We have several options at RB, even Elano can do it if pushed. We need another full back and a LB.

Warnock is a decent LB, i'm sure we could get him for a round 4-5 million, failing that what about Wayne Bridge???

Yeah, thinking about it, isn't Warnock left footed? So he'd fit the bill. Get him in if only for cover.

Stephen Warnock (born December 12, 1981 in Ormskirk, Lancashire), is an English footballer who currently plays for Blackburn Rovers. His general position is left back, though he occasionally plays left midfield.

I Think if we can sign santa cruz that would be pretty good , we wanted to sign him before but he chose blackburn , but now mark hughes is here maybe he can lure him to the blueside of mancheser :D

I agree.

He used to be a bit of a headless chicken, but since his time at Chelsea, he seems to have improved.

Yeah he never plays though ashley cole is a lot better than him, Since that Croatia game I can't look at him without being pissed off, he used to be good on the ball, I remember him knocking arsenal out of champs league but now he's shocking maybe its just confidence though after being left on the bench for so long
