Midfield looks a bit soft there wakka. They'd get beasted in the Prem.

Good first post. That would be a fantastic team right there. It's possible that team could challenge the top four, definitely. But as good as Anelka is, I wouldn't want him back.

Looks better with a Hamman-type player in there. Him or Gelson would be fine.

I suspect Hughes will stick firmly to four at the back.

Conker. Charlie is a centre back / right back. Spend some money on a left back. Bridge would fit the bill. Jo, Boji and Benji up front would do me at the start of the season. Ronaldinho added to the midfield and perhaps a hard tackling midfield player to add some steel.

I see no reason to get rid of Ball, predominantly a no-nonsense LB although capable of games of cack.

That'd do me. Add in the likes of Ireland, Sturridge, Onuoha, Ball, and Evans coming in and out of the first XI to keep a British feel about the team and I'd be well chuffed.

Not bad, but I don't like Elano as RB!!

He doesn't look good when he played 2 or 3 games last season as RB.

I don't rate him personally.
Great going forward, but don't think he'd cut it in the Prem like he does over here. I think he's protected a bit being at Bayern München.

What about Gelson!!

Total disagreement. He looked MINT when he played RB for us, collected owt, directed traffic and got out and back in to position beautifully. He plays RB for Brazil man?!

Gelson or Hamman is fine. To begin with I'd stick Hamman in there though, particularly if we have one or two new signings to blood into the team. He's Mr Dependable.
