Oh, and to join the fuck off noob debate, it's generally first post. Or however many posts it takes for someone to remember...

In fairness I reckon saying fuck off noob to the first thread that someone's taken the time to put up, hoping it's going to trigger an interesting discussion would have a more soul-destorying effect on the newb. That is the point isn't it?

Hah, the soul should be destroyed from their very first input. Don't give them a chance to get so much as a little toe in the door of forum acceptance :D

In a way, it is forum acceptance. I rarely do it, but I've just "done" someone cos I know them.

get a fancy G-15 keyboard that has special keys to programme multiple keystrokes to a single keypress. there may be ways to do it with normal keyboards, but i wouldn't know.

I think this poll's been misunderstood - loads of people are taking it as 'who thinks Bellamy should be given a chance' or 'who now thinks he might do OK for us'.

The poll was meant to be 'who wanted to sign him', and judging my the comments around the time we were being linked with him, the majority of people were against it.

so 2 in 3 are saying they'll get behind him as he is a city player, some reluctantly. whereas it should be who would be happier if we hadn't signed him in the first place rather than signing him.

Affirmage. If it had been worded like this the poll would've been a lot more interesting.

Well, the poll states "Are you happy with signing Bellamy?" and 2 in 3 say yes.

^^^^ sums it up perfectly for me - he probably did his best work at Blackburn, lets hope that was Hughes's influence.

Certainly if it's one of bassy's. Tbh, some of them test even the hardiest of posters on here.

Concur, and that was the point I was trying to make somewhere earlier in the thread.
