Equally I could say that it is very Christian of you to be so forgiving his past misdemeanours.

You bother God Bassman, admit it. You LOVE him.

Far from it, can't stand any religion, the only time i've been to church was weddings, and being christened (which i didn't really have much say in).

we've moved on from it being about Bellamy, well i have anyway. I'm on about people that judge others, take the moral high ground as if they've never ever done anything at all wrong. That to me, is as bad as someone that has done something wrong.

Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone has some good and some bad in them. However, some people act like such twats on such a consistant basis that I am afraid that I feel perfectly entitled to take the higher ground on this. I am a better person than Craig Bellamy. It's official.

You are entitled to your opinion, and I to mine. I am perfectly at ease with where I stand on this. You treat others as you expect to be treated and therefore Bellamy deserves to be treated with nothing but contempt.

Hardly a resounding endorsement, is it?

Shall we do a poll on Bridge and De Jong as well?

oh, come on. this thread was showing promise as being an actually good debate that didn't descend into pointless shit throwing. the moral high ground is there for sitting on.

I didn't want him before the signing, but he's a City player now, so I will support him

Well said sir. I hope all the supporters who don't like the guy will still support him.

I think he'll score on his debut. You heard it here first.

I'm sure most will either support him or at least not actively undermine him if and when he plays for City. That's not the question of the poll, though. I'm certainly not happy at signing him, regardless of whether I will boo him, cheer him or throw rotten tomatoes at him.

He's a decent hard working striker that should get us a few goals and will give us options. OK for 18 months or until we establish ourselves as a top 6 side. Expensive but isn't everyone we go in for........ sell him for £6m in 18 months
