Anyone got a link to where Johnson says he wants to leave? Ah, paper talk again. Pretty much every player we own has been linked in the papers with someone. It happened last year too when there was instability. They didn't leave though. Apart from Distin and James, and we've upgraded on both those.

not the most reliable of sources i admit.

Johnson signed for Manchester City in 2004. Prior to signing for Manchester City, Johnson was a schoolboy at Everton.[1], and supported Leeds United as a youth

Seems to be a quote from the match programme so it may well be true. I sometimes work with his cousin, if I see him soon I'll ask.

His family are city fans I have been told. £8 million is way too little and why would he move to Everton anyway ? Crap ground, smaller fan base. Plus its an absolute shit hole.

We were not that far behind them points wise and we are both in europe.

But then again I see Pompey want Dunne. Why would on earth would he go there ? Distain did though these pro footballers must be thick as pig ****...

Maybe he wants to go to a stable club.

I would have Arteta but not Lescott

I think Lescotts a decent player. Lets not give them credit for that FA cup win either. Complete fluke thats a once in 50 year deal. Right place right time nothing more.

Maybe they think he's not fit after celebrating City's triumphant tour of Asia?

I'm good thanks, I'd love to say sleepy but I'd be lieing.

Warm night here for a change.

How's you?
