As for everything else going on at city right now... It "

Fuck the mercenaries who are only interested in money, get Evans and some of the other fa youth winners in the team.

yes City should have went the route with buying a few young supertalents who could develop to superstars at City, mix them with their on supertalents like Johnson, Hart and you could have had a great City team for years to come.

But now it seems all the great players are sold and new mercenaries will arrive.

Don't blame Thaksin though:rolleyes::D

Well we kind of did. At least we bought Caceido, Gelson and Corluka. Nobody knows who's going to be a super talent so you speculate. I think we have, in fact there's been some criticism on this forum of that tactic, suggesting we shouldn't be buying kids when we have our own.

By the way we bought Hart.

Oh and we haven't sold all our players. In fact we haven't sold anyone yet.

Looks like Dunne's going then. He's turned down a new contract.

:confused:nobody was talkin about or even criticizing Corluka:confused:

and what does it matter that Hart was bought????
he was bought cheap as second goalkeeper and Sven believed in him and he became the best goalkeeper in England. He had his breakthrough at City.

and it seems very sure that a lot of the best and especially best young players are leaving...and that is nothing less than a disaster.
(of course there is the emigre option that all the papers could be lying and all could be malicious rumors and at the end City could keep all the b est players, get Scolari, get a 100£ for new players and everyone will be happy:rolleyes:)

Agreed. I just dont want it to be the start of a mass exodus. True there are plenty of players we could do with getting rid of, but there is a core of players that we should want to keep. Whether Dunne was in that core is debatable, I just hope the sinking ship attitude doesn't spread throughout the team.

Yep, pre-season starts in 5 weeks, the first UEFA game in 8, things need sorting out ASAP.

I think Dunne leaving was on the cards since Christmas, I've sort of got used to the idea, that said the almighty fuck up that Frank has master minded hasn't helped.

I say debatable because he does have flaws to his game which gets pointed out a lot by people here, even though I've said in the past that I wouldn't swap him for any other defender in the premiership. Ans age is catching up with him too.

I absolutely adore dunney, and I really hope he stays, but blue tinted specs off there are prolly 5 or 6 premier league defenders I'd swap for him.

Same here. Pains me to say it but I'd have Vidic over Dunne. :confused:
