I have been thinking about this today. So many rumours about what first team players we might sell.

The latest rumours surround Villa making an £8 million bid for Joe Hart.

Villa had Scott Carson on loan from Liverpool last season (They paid a £2 million loan fee with a view to signing him permanently for another £8million)

Crazy money for Liverpools reserve keeper that hadnt played much pl football up to this season. They have fallen out over Liverpool trying to sign Barry so it looks like they have turned their attentions to Hart - no doubt he is a better keeper than Carson....

Anyway my question is would Frank be willing to sell Hart for that sort of money keeping in mind we have Kasper and Isaksson. They want to go because Hart is obviously locked in as first choice keeper.

They would both probably be willing to stay if they were given the chance to fight it out for the number one slot next season. Both decent keepers if not as exceptional as hart has been at times.

Would that be good business keeping 2 decent keepers happy and at the club and getting a good price for Hart or does it just send the wrong message that we are a selling club again ?

Personally I dont think we should sell any of our quality players, especially not the young english ones with so much promise but thats alot of money for a a keeper with 1 pl season under his belt....

This could also apply to Ireland but I think most of us would agree that £8million for him would be very hard to turn down with a view to the players we got in last summer for a fair bit less than that....

I'd still tell em to feck off

Richard Dunne (unless he refuses to stay)

Micah Richards

Michael Johnson
Martin Petrov
Daniel Sturridge

In my opinion anyway.....

We must keep all of them to move on to the next level.

You could also add in promising youngsters who might become good enough given a season or so in the championship....
