The deal for jo is going to be simliar to the deal that took tevez and masc to west ham(he's owned by that kia joorabchian) or 8m rising to 16 with installment's and add on's etc. Not £18-20 straight up.

Think this will be the end to Caciedo and Benjani tbh

So it's a definite then?

If so, not too sure I'm happy about it being a deal like the Tevez/Mascherano/West Ham deal. One season, get yourself in the PL spotlight, fuck off to a bigger club.

Hope we do it right then! although by precedent, all the FA can do is fine us.

Both Caicedo and Benjani seem like bizarre signings now.

Yeah, Garry cook said he's arriving next week.

Im pretty sure its the cash deal but also heard with it being that fella Kia don't rule out it being a loan type deal with view to permenant transfer.

Think £3m-4m for each of them would be good buisness and-

Bianchi £7m, Samaras £3m, Mpenza 500k, . Corradi and dickov freebies

Its just finding someone to take them!

think Hughes might want to look at Bianchi himself?

I can see West Ham bidding for Benjani for some reason.

Here's Garry cooks comments

We have had a conversation with Mark Hughes about this because we wanted to see what he felt but it would be fair to say we expect to see Jo at Manchester City," said the new executive chairman Garry Cook.

I think he will sell if we get an offer to bring in someone he wants.

i cant see him signing santa cruz or bentley though... if he is to sign any ex players, i reckon he'd go for nelson, emerton and friedal.

Benjani, as it turns out, I think was worth the risk, but only cuz the fee was small. Caicedo was a stranger one. Cuz he was bought for the future, and even if sven had stayed, surely he knew he'd have the funds to sign better this summer. Plus we have our own better youth coming though anyway.

As Kia Joobrachians company- MSI - own him, any deal will in effect be a loan deal from MSI. CSKA Moscow actually have very little control over the transfer and will get a fraction of the £20 million sum. Tevez is technically still a long-term loan signing for United. If the club wanted to purchase the player outright, then the sum would probably be astronomical, as MSI can make the best part of £20 million just for a loan!

It's such a strange situation, and I can't really see what advantage the player gains in a structure like this. Apart from having this 'super-agent' controlling bids.
