My main issue with Lahm is even though no doubting he is a great left back. I think i am right in thinking he is right footed and switches back to cross.

I know I am considering him in the attacking part of his role and the defensive side is more important. I would prefer Bridge

You're right about the right footedness I think.

I really can't get over the Croatia game for Bridge. I know he's good but he was sooooooooooooooooooo gash that day...

Bale, Lahm, Chiellini, and then my knowledge runs low. Or me, I'm left footed.

Lahm is considered by many to be the finest left back in the world. I'd be happy with him at Eastlands.

Failing that, what about Clichy.

I have been wanting to say Clichy for ages now! But was too afraid of the slaging that would have no doubt followed it.

I would personally have Clichy over all the others mentioned......bit of a fairy in the tackle sometimes but im sure Dunne and Richards would soon sort that out. Fast as fuck! and still just in his early 20s i think, plenty of time to mould him into a world class LB.

Not seen much of Lahm to be fair, apart from the Euros where i thought he was pretty poor.

What about Chivu at Inter?

he went tits about middle class people going to the footy, saying they had no right or something like that and should fuck off. then he flounced. the note on his account says he actually asked for it to be deleted, emigre did the next best thing and just banned it.
