Considering that he plays for one of the richer clubs around, and has been the key player in them winning the UEFA Cup, I can't see him going anywhere on the cheap. £10m would be a great price imo, but I doubt they'd let him go for that.

Anyway, I'd be more interested in Tymoschuk. Great positioning and distribution in front of the back 4, and would be a quality replacement for Hamann. But at 29, you wouldn't want to spend too much.

18-21mil will get him. Money is no trouble for them. The only obstacle is that wenger prefers to sign unknown foreign young talent. Not well known english young talent.

I dont undestand why people think why he would go to Arsenal. Really in terms of top prem sides they are poor as church mice. They have spent very little net on players over wengers reign. They simply couldnt afford him.

What a cock! SWP was "City through and through", money comes calling, they're gone, simple as. Arsenal DO have the funds for Johnson, and if Wenger comes calling, I would not blame him at all for moving to Arsenal, my only fear is that he would end up like Walcott. It's Champions League football, and, lets face it, a higher standard than we can offer at the moment, so let him have his chance.
