Question....

We're still being linked to players day in day out, some sound plausible, some not, a few have confirmed we've made contact.

Who's transfer targets are they? Sven's? Frank's?Someone else?

End of the day, surely if Frank was going to bin Sven and bring in another manager, he'd break off or suspended any negotiations with players Sven had targeted??

Manchester City hope to finance a £12m deal for Zenit St Petersburg's Andrei Arshavin by selling defender Richard Dunne and midfielder Stephen Ireland, with Roy Keane's Sunderland leading the chase. (Daily Mirror)

I'd rather have Dunne and Ireland... Would Dunne really consider leaving European football behind for Sunderland anyway??? I detect a hint of bullshit!

You will see about the same spending we seen last yr. If he's money gets unfrozen soon we will have more. But it looks like the season after when he gets it and then he will go for it

If true, no it's not, but it means blowing half of it on a 21 year old striker given our short comings in other area's is either a tad silly or just tabloid bollocks.

Isaksson £2 million
Dunne £10 million
M mills £400,000
D mills £1.50p.......ok maybe £100,000
Sun £10p........ok give him away
Ireland £8 million
Bianchi £8 million
Corradi £1 million
Dickov £100,000
Mpenza £1 million
Samaras £3 million

£33.6 million for that lot, plus another £40 million = £73.6 million :D

Dunne's contracts up next year so 5 millions more realistic, I think mpenza, dickov, sun and danny mils will go for nothing too
