I get the feeling that Denayer is being treated like a new signing. I admit I haven't seen enough of him to reserve proper judgement but I am not sure a season in the SPL is preparation enough to step up to play for a title chasing English team

Tbf Denayer looks a hell of a lot better prospect than Boyata ever did. He did brilliantly on loan at Celtic - shit league I know but still good first team football experience. I'd probably be less nervous seeing him at the back than Kompany at the moment.

Ok so jovotic and now edin has gone, that leaves us with yet to prove him self bony, and kun..

we are seriously short of a world class striker.
Im sure iniscratchyo will get a game it seems but...i think we need a CB RB and striker at the least..nevermind pogba and kev...

I read somewhere today that we're not going for a striker, and the club thinks Serg, Bony, Iheancho and Sterling give us enough options.

Didn't we go W7-D2-L0 from mid-november to christmas last year without any strikers?

I think we'd struggle to get any real quality in tbf - any new signing would know they'll be second or third choice.

That was when we had Milner, though. I would agree with the sentiments of others that we would definitely be struggling to attract real quality as anyone would look at Dzeko and Jovetic's game time. I like the idea of promoting Kele and Pozo; and, if as reported, we move to a 4-3-3 then I think Kun, Bony, Silva, Nasri, Sterling and KDB will be plenty to fill those positions, in any combination

Rumor that the tags are now interested in him too though.
