Don't want him. Guess Mancio's given up on de Rossi then.

Is this a Marwood "You are having him whether you want him or not " sort of statement?

Not a bad one in my view. Rodwell looks (and has looked for years) like a very good prospect - sort out the injury that kept him out last season and it could be a very good signing. Still only 21; can play as an emergency centre-back if required; relatively low wages - I think it's a good'un.

Decent signing IMO. He's a good young player who has bags of potential. He did a great job on keeping Silva quiet last season. It also explains why gollum was at the Etihad last week.

Yup, concur. With Yaya, NDJ, Barry, Milner and Zabs all available for the position he can be eased into the team, which should help with his injury issues.

Had Silva in his pocket last season.
Great signing if he gets himself fit.

Great signing. He's young and will only get better. Nobody is expecting (himself included) to walk into the first 11. He's backup...and a good one!

I think we are now swamped with players for this position but yes he is a good signing, and as bastard said probabnly eyed up to continue in Garrah's place. Shame he's a mickey mouser but that's life.

He will be converted to a CB à la Kompany. Which will hopefully bring the end to Savic.
